At Gladeo, DEI is the key to everything we do!
That’s why we literally jumped at the chance to team up with the Los Angeles Opportunity Youth Collaborative (OYC) to craft shareable stories about young career professionals who formerly lived in the foster care system.
These are incredibly uplifting stories that we’re tremendously proud to share on our career navigation platforms, in the hopes that they inspire others. One incredible example is the story of Cheyenne Catherine, an executive assistant for ITV America and the founder of her own foster youth advocacy brand Jenni’s Flower!
OYC is mission is to build “multi-sector partnerships to improve education and employment outcomes for transition age foster youth to thrive.” Its vision is that “Transition age foster youth in Los Angeles County have the knowledge and skills to allow them to achieve economic mobility and flourish in their personal lives.”
